Debrecen is Hungary’s third-largest city by area and the county seat of Hajdú-Bihar. Rich in attractions and events, it is the most important city of the region east of the Tisza River, as well as the intellectual, cultural, and economic centre of Eastern Hungary and a vibrant festival city.
